I wanted to let you know how well our stretch wrapper retrofit application turned out. As you know, recently one of our customers submitted a request for a retrofit carriage. The carriage was for a very old and obsolete Muller RPA 446 stretch wrapper with top platen. When we contacted Muller, they could only offer the same obsolete carriage the machine was equipped with.

When we approached CAPS with the application, you designed a film carriage that met the tight size constraints of the obsolete machine while integrating state of the art technology. By adding a carriage gate you eliminated our customers safety issues of stretch film threading. The strain gauge technology for film feed control you also implemented, drastically reduced the maintenance issues they had lived with in the past. Our customer is extremely happy with his retrofit decision, and so are we as the installation was clean and it bolted right in place.
